A stalwart of MG Racing, Michael Herlihy will once more don the overalls and helmet and hit the circuit at the second round of the series at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
Herlihy has a swag of awards to his name in the MG community, former president, MG Racing captain, former champion in 2000 and a MGCC Victoria life member it will be a return to a passion that stems back over 20 years. “There has been so many opportunities of late and bucket list things Kay and I decided to tick a few off and racing took a back step. But about 12 months ago a got back into a few sprints and with a great group of people I am looking forward to getting back out there”. The familiar blue MG B with a white stripe will head back on track, the same car that carried Michael to the title in 2000.
Michael will also be joined by his son Sean in a true family affair for the weekend while long time friends Henk Zwartaveen and Peter Rose will line up.
