Andrew and Rhys Howell’s tumultuous season has continued with the team forced to withdraw from the final round of the 2019 season. After engine troubles at the opening round in the stunning MG SV-R they have been sidelined chasing the dramas with an expected return for the car at the final round of 2019 only to be a late withdrawal.
“It is frustrating but we didn’t get it sorted in time and while the ZR is ready the SV-R isn’t and so we will abandon our plans for the final round and come back for Round 1 next year” commented Andrew. The ZR suffered problems and has had a major overhaul since the opening round, “we had Cal go over the whole car and get it updated, its now a sound car and will be on the money but I want to return with both cars so we will roll it out in 2020”.
The team have suffered troubles but are excited for the new season to come out swinging, “it would be great to come out with some miles in the off season and give Phil and Vince a run for their money with the SV-R so fingers crossed it all comes together” commented Andrew Howell
