Title contender goes on the market

Vince Gucciardo has listed his MG C GT for sale ready for the 2022 championship. The car has a well documented past starting as a MG C GT it ran in MG Racing for many years before Bob Nordlinger purchased the car, it ran as a MG C for many years before Nordlinger had Plus Four Automotive convert the car to Rover V8 power amongst a number of updates including a Toyota 5 speed gearbox, various aerodynamics and bigger wheels and brakes.

Nordlinger took the car to the Motorsport Australia state championship title before the car was sold to Philip Chester in 2014 where some subsequent updates were done to bring the car closer to the benchmark vehicles like Robin Bailey’s and the ex-Fitzgerald V8’s, the car went on to win the 2015 MG Racing championship in the hands of Glen Wood before Chester campaigned the car in 2016 and 2017 where the car featured in his championship wins alongside his blue B GT V8 before being sold to Vince Gucciardo.

Gucciardo subsequently updated the car significantly again and in 2021 variant the car features extensive updates including Motec C125 dashboard, serviced Holinger RD6 gearbox, AP supercar spec brakes and carbon fibre front and rear aerodynamics.

Gucciardo has priced the car to sell at $85,000 and full listing is now on the for sale section
