Vince Gucciardo is only in his first season of circuit racing but has already got the bug and has purchased Cody Hill’s MG TF LE 500, one of just 4 LE500 race cars built and most likely the most significant of the 4.
The car was built in the UK by Dreadnought for Paul Luti who campaigned it from 2009 onwards with the vehicle picking up its first win at Silverstone that same year, the car taking a further 10 race wins during its time before Cody Hill purchased the car for the 2013 season where he successfully took the MG Road Racing Championship. Select further rounds in 2014 saw strong results before Hill put the car on the market where Gucciardo struck a deal to purchase the car. His plans are to compete for the remainder of 2015 in it and get to grips for an attack on the 2016 championship.
On debut at Sandown Gucciardo qualified 11th overall and followed it up with a 16th, 12th and 11th placing’s over the 3 races.
The trophy yellow with striking chrome black decals looks fantastic on track!
