Robin Bailey became just the third member of the 1 minute 16 second lap time club at Sandown, previous people to achieve it were Mort Fitzgerald with a 1:16.4012 on 17/4/2005 and more recently Glen Taylor at Sandown Historics last year with a 1:16.7369. Bailey set a 1:16.9565 to break under that 1:17 bracket and chop a huge chunk from his previous best which was in the 1:18 second bracket. Who will be the next member of the 1:16 club, Glen Wood? Richard Milligan? Or Rob Whitwell?
