2015 Championship leader Glen Wood will get a drive of a lifetime this weekend when he lines up as co-driver to Justin McMillan in the Australian GT Championship.
McMillan runs the successful M Motorsport team in the Australian GT Championship having successfully campaigned Lamborghini Gallardo GT3’s and the newer Reiter Camaro GT3’s over recent years. The current emphasis on driver rankings has placed Wood in the spotlight for the team as he has an extensive history but with very few national or international starts in recent years ranking him as an amateur in the series.
The team will be part of a 34 car field and Wood will be up against Audi R8’s, Aston Martins, Ferrari’s, McLarens and Porsches with star drivers such as international star Christopher Mies, Jono Lester and John Bowe.
