The 2022 Winton Festival of Speed is the penultimate round in the 2022 season for MG Racing and a field of 20+ entries will take part. It is expected there will be no outright MG’s featuring due to various reasons however there is definately a strong lineup of classic and Invited British Sportscars that will line up.
The champonship is a tightly run contest between Mike Trathen, Gary Bulmer, Tony Vollebregt and Michael Wood which gives us four different vehicles in four different classes. Trathen has been a stand out having started with just a round or two for the year but leads the championship while Gary Bulmer was still planning to fettle with his ex Howell MG B Roadster only to find himself fighting for the year. Wood and Vollebregt have both been active in their cars as seasoned campaigners but consistancy has brought them to the front of the pack and with 6x races left it is coming to crunch time.
