The 2016 MG Road Racing Champion and VSCRC MG series winner Phil Chester will return for another season in 2017.
Chester will campaign the green MG C that was campaigned primarily by Glen Wood last season but will sport the #1 on the door this year. Chester is excited to get the #1 on the door but isn’t slowing down “Last year was great, and there was so much work behind the scenes for the boys to keep the car on track and running well but this year is no different and I want to keep that #1 on the door”.
Chester is keen to get to see the V8 grid build in 2017 “It will be great to have Robin (Bailey) back this year, and Howelly is coming along with an outright car and hopefully Richard (Milligan) comes back in the V8, I mean the V8’s are such a crowd pleaser and the cars are so rewarding to drive”. Chester progressed from his MG TF Cup car to the big V8 and also mentioned the TF is for sale “I have too many cars and I am only 1 guy so the Cup car is on the market, its the car Glen Wood drove to outright top 3 and the fastest Cup car at Sandown and Winton”.
