MG Racing is pleased to announce it’s third and final event for the 2020 season. A few months back we planned to compete with the AMRS at Winton Motor Raceway only for government restrictions to not only bring our plans, but also the AMRS plans to a holt.
The AMRS have since been able to secure a date at Sandown (27-29 November) and MG Racing will support Trans Am 2, Formula 3 and Super GT at Sandown. Paul Vernall confirmed the plans to field a grid, “obviously 2020 has been a crazy year but the consistent feedback has been competitors want to go racing… We planned to get on board with the AMRS earlier in 2020 only for their plans to be cancelled as well so it’s great to finally have a couple of events to round out 2020 including our first event with the AMRS at Sandown”.
The weekend will feature good value for money with just 8 categories competing, “it will be a great weekend, the track time is good value and the AMRS have a great proposition with friday as well for people to practice, interest has been strong so hopefully we can put a reasonable field together to finish off 2020” commented Paul Vernall.
