Glen Wood blazed to his first round win for 2017, and his first solo round win in the Australian GT Championship at Townsville street circuit.
Driving the M Motorsport Lamborghini Gallardo R-EX GT3, Wood took two 3rd placings, and a win across the three races to take the round win against much more fancied opposition. Wood commented how happy he was to get the victory, “it was amazing to get it, unbelievable, we knew the car would be strong there but the round win is pretty awesome. Can’t wait for the remaining rounds now im pumped”
