VSCRC Champion to be decided

The VSCRC will be decided at Phillip Island on October 23-25, Glen Wood has dominated the 2015 Vic State Race Series in the Wolfchester MG C Sebring V8, of the 300 Points available to date he has amassed 298 of them! The gap down to Richard Milligan in second is 68 points, with just 100 points available at Phillip Island it will require Wood to not finish at least two races to give Milligan a chance.

Third place in the state series is currently held by Chris Gidney in his MG ZR, an unbroken run of finishes that many are envious of has netted him 200 points and third place although Jason Holmes has been closing the gap, he sits on 189 points and with just 11 points in it that gap may shrink very quickly. Holmes has bounced back after an early DNF at Phillip Island earlier in the year to consistently finish the remainder of the races and the battle for third will go to the wire.

Fifth place is current season debutant Vince Gucciardo in his MG TF LE500 on 136 points from John Stevenson’s MG B Roadster and Adam Cottam in MG TF Cup.
Phillip Island will see three races across the two days and the state champion decided before the MG Road Racing Championship gets decided two weeks later at Sandown.
